Overview
Velvet Club is a nightlife venue in Hoi An that appears in a 2024 Hoi An venue brochure at 16 Thoại Ngọc Hầu, Minh An Ward, with the brochure also listing its contact number and website. Recent third-party directory pages continue to reference the same address and name, which gives useful supporting evidence that the venue is associated with this spot in Hoi An’s late-night scene. Because nightlife businesses can change names, hours, and operating details quickly, it is best to confirm plans with the venue directly before going. The official website listed in the brochure is velvethoian.club, though the site may not always load reliably. Official site.
What to expect
Velvet Club is best understood as a late-evening social venue rather than a sightseeing stop. Hoi An is known for lantern-lit streets, riverside dining, and a generally relaxed pace, so a club setting here can feel more compact and local than the big-city nightlife found in Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City. If you are looking for a place to extend your evening after dinner in the Ancient Town area, Velvet Club is one of the names that comes up again and again in local nightlife listings.
The venue’s location on Thoại Ngọc Hầu places it close to the lively An Hoi side of town, which is convenient for visitors exploring the riverfront and night market area. That makes it a practical stop if you want to keep your night within easy walking or short-ride distance of central Hoi An. Brochure listing.
Planning your visit
If you are considering a visit, check the venue’s current social media or website for the latest information on opening times, any special events, and guest policies. Nightlife venues can update their schedules often, and an older brochure may not reflect a recent change in branding or operations.

Nearby area
The surrounding Old Town and An Hoi area is ideal for an easy night out: dinner, a riverside stroll, then a late stop if you want to continue the evening. For many visitors, that compact geography is part of the appeal. You can keep the whole outing focused in one part of town without needing a long transfer back to your hotel.
